THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS on telly and of course watching it again. One of Barry's greatest scores and one of my favourite Kitchen Fights, incorporating rolling-pin, electric carving knife, hot skillet, flour in the eyes, pan of boiling water. All Kitchen Fights need this ingredients.
What kind of shit design sliding door has its mechanism showing in an easily accessible panel where SMERSH agents can plan explosives so the door will override any safety fixtures and kill someone passing through? That's a BADLY designed sliding door.
Only just clocked that Australian actress Virginia Hey, who plays General Pushkin's mistress Rubavitch in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS, also plays the Warrior Woman in MAD MAX 2 (and also Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan in FARSCAPE).
