A lot of people learned about the Residential School System after the storyline aired in s3, and Anne taught us to take action to help others. Thus, tonight we are launching this project to donate money to the Legacy of Hope Foundation.

Their mission is “educating and raising awareness about the history and many legacies of the Residential School System." Our donation will be made in the name of Anne With An E and the money will be deposited directly to them, so none of us will have access to any of the money.

The money goes towards developing educational programming on residential schools and the way they have impacted “Survivors, their families, and their communities.” http://Canadahelps.org  also provides a graph which shows how their money is spent in a fiscal year.
