#crspoilers Okay so my thoughts about Jester and Artagan so far are still... complicated. Keep in mind is that Artagan is amoral & Jester is possibly a chaotic neutral meaning we can't apply straight GOOD/BAD to actions. This essay (linked below) is much of my thoughts as well+
https://www.reddit.com/r/criticalrole/comments/hwxz8b/spoilers_c2e103_can_we_talk_about_the_traveler/

And so I don't think Arty actually tried to "groom" Jester or manipulate her rather than he is a perpetual Peter Pan while Jester is like Wendy who finally grew up. I don't think their relationship can ever be what it was but there can still be something+
We don't need to "cancel" Artagan but Jester needs to decide what SHE wants. It is possible Arty will change even further from being an Archfey into something that can see the consequences of his actions & grow. Jester changes people after all. Or Jester can learn abt his amoral+
nature and set the proper boundries in their changing dynamic. Artagan isn't trying to hurt or manipulate Jester imo he cares but like a child he never thinks through his actions & their affect on others. Even someone he cares about. And so consequencely hurts her in the process+
Not saying I personally agree with Artagan's methods of getting rid of followers but Jester's concern seemed to be her & M9, and he said he would've saved them. Unless Matt changed the rules Archfey can't lie. And he went out of his way to try and help, in a way he knew how,+
when Jester was kidnapped. He cares but Jester has grown so much since the campaign began, & that means she's gotten farther from the idyllic childhood fantasy the Traveler remains in. I hope the relationship can change into a healthier one rather than forcibly tearing Jester+
from her best friend & damaging a large part of her identity like many seem to want to do. But wherever SHE lands, whatever SHE wants, I'll have her back 100%

I really recommend the link above to understand the Fey & hope whatever Jester decides, she's happy #jesterlavorre
