Middle class kids want universal free college before we house the homeless.

If we are talking about what people ought to be “entitled” to, free college is so damn far down the list of basic needs, and could very well be more expensive then massive projects like housing the homeless and could even rival universal healthcare.

So considering resources are finite, and people are suffering out on the street, in ghettos and without adequate healthcare everyday, maybe your free Bachelors of Arts degree that you won’t use in the workplace should take less of a national priority.

Another painfully obvious factor people don’t consider, college students choose to take on debt. No one chooses to be born in inner city Baltimore or rural Appalachia with no healthcare and a single mom with a drug problem. Let’s fix that mess first.
