If it's recent artwork provided after the debut of the Fascist Frog YouTube channel (that was the actual channel name, I'm not being insulting), then that's just disgusting and disappointing. But if this is dusted off art from '96? Eh.

Aaaaaaand it looks like people would rather make a name for themselves aggravating Tom King and defaming Jae Lee instead of just asking Lee if he'd been aware of the bigoted actions of notable Comicsgate members and founders from its incarnation to today.

There are many comic creators who are sincerely not online. They are from the old days of Bristol and basement cons and have no idea about the fascist movements that have sprung up in so many fandoms. And yes, Jae Lee could honestly be one of those old creators.

And instead of loudly demanding that Tom King make a statement or else you'll toss out everything with King's or Lee's name on it, why not ask Jae Lee if he knew that Comicsgate members had YouTube channels called Fascist Frog? That they use the term f_g in common conversation?

That they call female Marvel editors cumdumpsters and accuse them of performing oral favors for jobs? That they get on streams and joke about black men not knowing who their fathers are and getting black women fired from their places of work?

That they told a gay mainstream creator that it would have been better for his mother if he had died during the war because of his sexual orientation? That they write books for white supremacists featuring a character dressed in Confederate gear?

That they've called me a cunt? That they've called other black creators nigger? If you took the time to inform Lee of these things perhaps he'd be mortified. Perhaps he wouldn't. Some mainstream creators are fine with it. But you inform him THEN give him the chance to decide.

Once a creator knows the history and goes all in on Comicsgate? THEN I block and avoid them like the plague because I don't want social media algorithms dragging racist elements into my timeline. I have the right to protect myself from that and that isn't cancel culture to do so.

But some of you with no skin in this game want to create strife for attention. And creators like ME deal with the fallout. People have come to MY HOME! Sent ME creepy mail! While you treat this like a game show.
