He has had many chances to do collabs with huge western artists way before 3rd gen even debuted. He chooses his collabs based entirely on who he would sound good with, and who +

He admires. G-Dragon could have had collabs with Pharrell, Justin Bieber etc but didn't bc he wasn't satisfied with the outcome.
Either way he has done music with many western artists from legendary Missy Elliott during her HIATUS, to Diplo, to Bauuer (producer of Harlem Shake)

And he has done collabs with people before they even debuted, like Jennie and Rose.

If you need to know only one thing about GD, I hope its that he's an artist with immense integrity for his work. He wants to make music he can be proud of before collabs that are simply for clout

So to the Blonks shitting on G-Dragon over a rumor. Just know that if GD has said yes to collab with Blackpink you should feel honored.
Before calling him clout chaser or someone looking to restore his career, do some research.
