Are there any programming languages / environments explicitly designed for collaboration? (realtime, ideally) I know of Realtalk (for IRL work), but what are others / online ones?
Lots of programming languages are optimized for speed or safety or “productivity” (whatever that is!), but what about ones designed for collaboration? Typically languages feel *so* one-player oriented.
Of course I forgot @glitch! An environment designed for collab (and learning), which is cool. But I wonder, any languages designed for that?
Some aspects I’m curious about:

- What’s it look like to program together online?
- What does debugging together look like?
- How “present” do your teammates feel?
A typical source code editor, but with multiple cursors just really doesn’t feel like we’re reaching the full potential of making software together. It’s 1-player, many times, but it’s not multiplayer
