Saw this right-wing anti-mask meme blaming COVID fatalities on "comorbidities" and arguing ppl "shouldn't have to take responsibility for other people's health" and among all the other things wrong with this, what about the healthy ppl who don't want organ damage

I mean ignoring the fact that our conception of "health" is a bullshit pseudoscience: I don't actually think I will die if I get the virus but another person who also didn't think he would die had to get his leg amputated (and then died)

Like maybe I do not fucking think you have the right to compromise my quality of life by giving me a virus that will inflict organ damage and quite possibly affect my brain enough to permanently alter my personality

Maybe I think somebody should prevent you from doing that

I think I can make it out of covid in the short term but you know maybe I don't want to fucking change my life forever and think people who would try to force that on me should be treated like rabid dogs
