**Right History Curriculum**

1) In Ancient Empires start should be Mauryas, their struggle, culture and expansion.
Specific section (or may be a chapter) on Acharya Chanakya is the most important thing here.
2) Jump to The Great Guptas.
Their struggle, expansion, rule, art, architecture and their wars.
3) Post Guptas most important event I believe was Islamic invasi0n.

From the curriculum PoV Islamic invasi0ns could be divided into 2 parts.
A) Failed or Semi successful invasions from early 8th to 10th century (that Sindh part)
B) Defeat of Hindu Shahi in early 11th century.
Since real India/Bharatvarsh is pre partition India hence Invasion of Sindh by default becomes invasion of India/Bharat.

Mention of Battle b/w Raja Dahir & Qasim should be the start of (A) & one or two chapters covering 3 century wars & their aftermath.
Battles involving Bappa Rawal, Nagbhatt & Rule of Lalitaditya Muktapida etc & how they defended India to a great extent for years.

These are the most important details/mentions to bust the myths of "Hindu defeat" & to establish the facts of great martial history of Hindus.
After this..part (B) of Islamic invasions.
I believe this part started w/ the defeat of Jayapala of Hindu Shahi kingdom - just mentions nothing else - how that defeat opened the gate for invasions in today's northern India.
4) Next important event was Wars of Tarain.
How Raja Prithivaj defeated invaders in the first war.
IMPORTANT : History curriculum of a nation should move around its own heroes & empires.
Hence making D-Sultanate & Mughals as "main" kingdoms in India makes no sense.

Teaching about "main", better & Indian empires like VijayNagar & Marathas is justice & truth.
5) Tarain 2 happened in late 12th century.
Some mentions of Delhi sultanate & their dictators/tyrants here in the 13th century & the destruction, genocides they caused to the culture, architecture of India.
6) 14th century : Come to the main empires of India in last 800 years & the first one is VijayNagar Empire.
Its struggle, expansion, art, architecture, battles (especially Talikota & the great betrayal).
7) Specific chapter on KrishnaDeva Raya.

8) In the north Mughal invasion happens & Ram temple demolished in Ayodhya
&
details on origin of Sikhism/Guru NanakDev.
9) VijayNagar Empire ends in 17th century in curriculum.
Now b/w end of VijayNagar & start of Maratha Empire there must be a section for the notorious rule of Aurangzeb.
Genocides & destruction of Kashi Vishvanath, sacrifice of Sikh Guru in his era.
10) Second Indian empire : Maratha Empire emerges here against the tyranny of Mughals.
Their struggles, art, architecture MOST important their battles.

Specific chapter on ChhatraPati Shivaji MahaRaj & his RajyaBhishek.
11) Section on ChhatraPati Shambhaji MahaRaj & his fight against Mughals & how he sacrificed his life but didn't give up on Hindu Dharma against Aurangzeb.

Sacrifice of Sons of Guru Govind Singh & battles in the north.
12) Mentions of Maratha-Mughal wars (aka Maratha wars of independence) for 25 years.

Chapter on Peshwa Bajirao including battles of Delhi and Bhopal under him. How Mughals were reduced to a small region in next few years.
Culture,art,architecture of Rajputs.
Other small kingdoms of south & great temples & architecture.
Ahom Kingdom & their battles against Aurangzeb/Mughals.
Panipat war & treachery of Najibudolla.
Section on Sikh Empire and other details moving towards the independence of India.
This thread is just a suggestion.
I know there are people who know about history more than I do....but still I just shared my thoughts. It is what it is.
