Something changed in my mindset this year

where I have developed the ability to make conscious decisions for my long-term benefit

it's hard for ppl who are young to understand how difficult it is to change decades of programming
I was raised in a household that did not value health, diet or exercise

In college, I would often smoke a bowl, eat a box of Entemann's chocolate donuts, play video games on 1 screen with a movie playing on mute on another

Well into my 30s, I was still in arrested development
So when I want to eat candy & instead eat a steak & cruciferous veggies

or when I want to smoke a bowl & instead go to sleep to get up for London session

or when I'm tired & in a bad mood & still drive to the gym & do my full workout

that's the result of years of reprogramming
Years of studying the nature of human consciousness

Years of devolving from health to full relapse into past habits that would last months, then weeks, then days, now only hours before I reset to health

It takes years to reprogram not only desire & goals but most importantly..
most importantly to rewire subconscious impulses to be in alignment with long-term goals

because when every decision requires willpower & struggle, it's impossible to win every battle

but when subconscious habits are reprogrammed, it's impossible to not win the war
when subconscious habits are reprogrammed into alignment with long term goals

the default action is success
Yesterday my daughter pointed out that it's been at least 2 years since she's seen me lose my temper

I grew up with an emotionally unstable father with an explosive temper

I also had an explosive temper my whole life

That's gone. Not repressed - gone.

Reprogrammed.
On a side note, since January

Deadlift from 105lbs to 245lbs

Hack Squat from 90lbs to 250lbs

It's like that in many aspects of my life this year

Learn to code is correct, but it's learn to code your self
