British citizen Jagtar Singh Johal was arrested by Punjab police in November‘17. He was subjected to an immense amount of physical & mental torture. We are now nearing 1000 days since Jaggi has been detained. The Sikh community have been doing all they can to raise awareness. 1/n

However, the UK Government has done very little despite their promises that they will do all they can to help. No evidence has been presented. This is a clear breach of human rights, but nothing is being done.

Jaggi educated so many of us on the injustices that were committed against Sikhs in 1984 & after. He is the reason why so many of us are vocal. Is it a crime to talk about a genocide that has happened to your people? A genocide that is barely recognised?
