After we were violently removed from trying to help people detained by @DHSgov at a hotel in McAllen, TX, we went outside with signs showing the phone number to get in touch with our legal team. These hotels, like all immigration detention, have become a black box of information so that people who are detained cannot seek help.

While we were outside with #rgv community members holding signs of the phone number to call our legal team, people who are detained waved at us from the windows. Some also held small signs they made to communicate with us.
