example: where is this "this isn’t what the patriot act was meant for" nonsense coming from? this is exactly what it was meant for. & every leftist on the planet told y’all exactly that ~20 years ago.

I don’t know many anarchists, socialists, or communists who didn’t realize by, say, spring of 2016 that trump was going to win, or at the very least that it was dangerous to treat him like a clown.

we told y’all gamergate was just the beginning, we told y’all the meme nazis would come out of their basements one day, we told y’all that civil conflict wasn’t only possible, but likely. we told y’all what needed to be done about it. you called us all paranoid and crazy.

if you wonder why we’re so hostile just sit down and consider how many things over the past two decades alone, let’s say, post 9/11, were considered radical beliefs, paranoid radical delusions, whatever, go down that list and then ask why people no longer want to hold your hand.

you all told us we’d grow out of it, grow up to understand, that the system would correct itself, that it could all be fixed by voting and sinking our extra pennies into NPIC hell, and we told you we were all headed for a cliff. who was right? & now who’s gotta clean up the mess?

& even still a lot of people would be okay with a bit of forgive & forget, except for that a great many of you seem not to have learned anything. idk about y’all but if I had been consistently wrong forever, upon realizing that, I’d go ask the people who were right for ideas.

what we seem to be getting instead is actually attacked, grabbed, and handed over to feds & other LEO just as enthusiastically as any fascist would. thanks for the heads up p-stew lenin:
