My Schizophrenic Uncle was murdered in his own home duringa little over a month ago by the Emergency Task Force. Imagine having the right to pull a trigger on someone and not explain yourself. Imagine how my family feels.
Just to provide some insight on what occurred with my uncle. He was a 62 year old father of 4, and there was a call made to the paramedics. My uncle was shot multiple times from outside his back door by peel regional police who arrived later because he was a “Threat” to himself.
Look at my uncle so happy with 2 of his children, smiling with their Iced Capps from Tim Hortons which he would bring everyday for them. He was a humble, caring and loving man to not just his family but everyone. It’s frustrating that someone so harmless was labelled a “threat”.
Taken from his children and wife, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Next week will be the first eid my family will spend without him. Without the one man who would sit in the middle of all of us and just make us laugh and smile. I Miss you Mammoo #justiceforejaz
The police need to be held accountable for their actions. Today it could be my uncle, tomorrow it could be your brother, father, uncle or loved one.
We have held multiple protests and rally’s in Mississauga (Malton), Ontario in Canada. Everyday we demand answers from the authorities and politicians in power, but we’re given the same silent treatment. It’s a shame that 5 year olds all the way up to seniors are fighting for..
Justice. A lot of the community has come together within these protests and rallies and shown support by standing in solidarity as one. How many more killings need to occur before police officers are held accountable? How many more fathers will be taken away? How many brothers?
We are fighting for justice for my uncle Ejaz Choudry and also for everyone who has been given the same injustice. The system isn’t broken it’s literally built this way. The ones in power don’t want to change it. Every four years they come out and show love...
When we’re in need they’re never there. Police officers are public servants, whose salaries are paid by the public. Hard-working individuals that provide a huge portion of their income to have authorities to serve and protect. NOT KILL THE INNOCENT. #JusticeForEjaz
