I have an important question. Do you know how to cook plain white rice without the use of a rice cooker? If so, who taught you?
I ask because rice to me, is a human staple food across cultures. My Dad was incarcerated for a lot of my life, and he was usually employed as a cook. He taught me how to make rice and that allowed me to make pretty much every rice dish I know. I didn& #39;t own a rice cooker until 25
I genuinely wish I had the ability to record these answers and then do a study on how y& #39;all learned how to make rice. Every single answer has been really interesting. The social scientist in me wishes I had asked you to be in a research study about it.
