3 points in reply to discussion about results. 1/ my ref to & #39;woke& #39; politics is reference to what we might otherwise call identity liberalism/& #39;the great awokening& #39; debate in US e.g. see Atlantic on & #39;woke capitalism& #39;, Pres Obama on & #39;woke stuff& #39;, etc. Not derogatory.
2/ What I& #39;m pointing to here is level of & #39;positive, instrumental change& #39; for what are radical actions (e.g. pulling down statues). I& #39;ve stripped out don& #39;t knows/oppose/don& #39;t care etc. Why? Because I want to get sense of core & #39;active& #39; support for actions that impact on majority
3/ If you follow me you know I typically report all responses. To suggest & #39;selective& #39; misinterprets my pt about degree of active support. Given who critical tweeters are, criticism strikes me not as good faith but indirect pressure on findings that challenge their priors /ends
p.s. if you are interested in the full poll results you can find them here https://bit.ly/2OODiuy ">https://bit.ly/2OODiuy&q... and wd add that recently I& #39;ve enjoyed civil, constructive debates on these issues with ppl who probably hold very different view. This is great for debate and Twitter.
