The assumption that all Orthodox Jews are homophobes is just wrong.

The chief rabbi of the commonwealth has published LGBT guides for orthodox schools. He actively calls for more acceptance. There are lgbt orthodox jews. There are lgbt orthodox Rabbis.
Yes, there is more orthodoxy can and should do. Yes, lgbt jews can face a lot of homophobia within orthodoxy. but the general assumption and labelling all Orthodox Jews as homophobes? incorrect.
when non-orthodox Jews, especially non-orthodox Jews with NO experience with orthodoxy, don’t hesitate to label all Orthodox Jews as homophobes - even lgbt jews themselves, It’s the same anti-orthodox bigotry that is thrown against Orthodox Jews time and time again.
I’ll always speak about homophobia and transphobia within Orthodox Judaism. I am an orthodox bisexual transgender Jew. I’ll always fight to make my denomination more welcoming for jews like me.

that doesn’t mean throwing all Orthodox Jews under the bus in the name of activism
