i’ve decided that from today i am going to start a little food diary/journal her and make it out of this thread. My mental health has been really really shit and it has really taken a toll on my physical health and my eating habits
For quite a while i’ve only been eating 1 meal a day and kept vomiting to the point where i’ve lost weight and almost fainted and collapsed during soccer the other day. I’ve been talking to my counsellor and now i realise wednesday was a really big wake up call for my eating
In order to better my mental health i first must take care of my eating. So by doing this, it’ll not only help keep myself in check but also enable others to help keep me in check if I am unable to do so. This is my first step into recovering. I hope i am able to get through this
A big part of the reason why I didn't eat was bcs I thought I deserved to not eat. I know it seems so counterintuitive but I genuinely thought that I deserved the pain from not eating. But now I can see that that’s not the case and that I do deserve to eat and heal and be happy
So yeah, my goal for the meantime is to eat at least two meals a day or at the very least two meals worth of food. Once I can consistently do that then I will try to move on to eating 3 meals a day when I am ready.
I will be doing this until I start eating properly again and probably a little afterwards just to make sure I stick to eating properly. Wish me luck guys :)

Dinner:
Yesterday I vomited after eating dinner most likely as a result of trying to eat too much so today I ate half of what I usually eat. It was a bit of rice and chicken. By the end I felt a bit bloated and had feelings of wanting to vomit. I am okay though

Breakfast:
I felt shit when i woke up and i tried eating but i couldn’t manage to stomach much of anything down. However I did manage to eat like a handful of popcorn which was my leftover lunch from yesterday. Perhaps my body isn’t ready for breakfast yet.

Breakfast:
My parents didn’t tell me I was gonna be fasting today so I ended up scoffing down a lot of food to compensate for missing lunch. That was a big mistake. My chest really hurt and I almost regurgitated everything. I didn’t tho and i’m okay now

Dinner:
Broke my fast and ate some chicken schnitzel with rice and egg. I actually managed to eat a lot more than I thought I would. It still wasn’t nearly as much as I would usually eat but regardless I am glad that I was able to eat that much

Lunch:
I’m at Geoffrey’s house and being able to eat with their family on their dinner table definitely helped my motivation to eat so that was nice. I had a small bowl of rice and some beef and chopped up bits of lamb.

I think i’m gonna stop this thread for now. I think my eating has been getting better and i’m consistently eating 2 meals a day. I might continue if things get bad again.
