I just wanna touch on why Gulf is so attached to Mew? why he mentions Mew all the time and cares for him with all this heart. I reckon it has to do with the fact that Mew makes Gulf feel young...It might sound weird but hear me out....

I think G felt a sense of reponsibility to those around him from an early age, we have seen him work since he was young. In interviews he always talks about giving back, esp to his fam. This just means that he grew up quick and adapted a different mind set to others of his age+

I think with Mew, he gets to come out of this mind set a little, he gets taken care of, he is babied, he gets to be himself. Mew matches his energy and helps him out of his shell, without being judge or pressured...treats him as equal, and respects his decisions/feelings.

With Mew, Gulf doesnt have to grow-up fast...he gets to be just Gulf. We all know that Mew wouldnt change a single thing (despite his teasing) and Gulf knows this too.

Imo, this sense of belonging means everything to Gulf..so he gives back to Mew with his love/care
