quick thread on how to deal with neurodivergent or mentally ill people who don't text frequently/ignore you/etc

texting them repeatedly in the same day when they don't reply
be patient. if they don't reply to your first few texts, don't overwhelm them with more

"let me know if you're going to be gone for more than an hour/etc"
they do NOT text on your schedule. whether you're their mutual or partner or anything. period.

"you didn't text me yet you're active on the timeline"
understand that you are not entitled to their free time. they will text you when they WANT to talk to you.

guilting them into replying to you
literally just mention on the timeline or something with "hey, did you see my texts?" bc a problem with me is that i straight up miss the notifications. the reminders are nice if they're genuine reminders and we'll reply if we can

what to do if they don't text you for several days:
come at them with a huge paragraph
vague them/insult them
block them
"hey, are we good or did you just want free time/miss my texts?"

if you cant handle them not texting you back constantly or devoting all their free time to you then don't get close to them. don't fucking date them. so often i see those self-indulgent tweets like "he's posting on his snap but he's not texting you back. he doesnt care about you"

and it's SO disgusting especially if that person is neurodivergent or mentally ill. you guys never fucking learn
