After that it feels like you’re dropped like a hot potato. The same people that were so happy to educate you about Islam when you were NOT Muslim now find your questions irritating now that you ARE a Muslim. Now they lose interest in you after you’ve said the oath. (2/4)
Covid makes it worse because Masjids are closed and I’m for the rest of the year with my mother does not accept it even though I’m not intrusive and never talk about it to her, and that sucks because we used to be so close but now everything is weird between us. (3/4)
I don’t know anyone from the Muslim community and now it seems it will stay that way for a long time.
I’ll always have God and that’s more than enough for me! I’m not ungrateful. At the same time, I just wish there was more support
