why i hate gon freecss from hunter x hunter, because APPARENTLY some people need to hear it.
1. he is so annoying. oh my god he is so fucking annoying he makes me tremble with hatred whenever i see him.
2. he is awful to killua. who treats their best friend like a servant? u are not the regina george u think u are.
3. he is the least interesting character. his only personality trait is being childish. that’s it. nothing else.
4. he reminds me of a LOT of toxic people i’ve met before. ESPECIALLY with the whole being selfish thing. “he’s just a kid” is NOT an excuse. i am literally the same age as him.
5. his superiority complex. he views ALL of the chimera ants as way below him, as well as treating them all as if they’re worth nothing, unless they provide some benefit to him.
6. he doesn’t actually love being a hunter. he is taking away opportunities from people who are actually passionate about it. he only wanted it to find his shitty father.
7. i don’t understand his character development. apparently he had it, but i didn’t see it at all. he’s the exact same as the beginning of the series after the chimera ant arc.
8. he really isn’t that good at all being a hunter. he doesn’t have any special skills, he’s just an average enhancer. if he were actually good he would have made something.
before you all come at me with “there’s something to like about all the hxh characters >_<,” it’s MY opinion, and i’m allowed to have it. stop gatekeeping from having their own opinions and thoughts about the characters.
