My last interaction with an exceptionally shitty boy: I was visiting my then-boyfriend at the bar he worked. When I was leaving, I purposefully waited INSIDE for my Lyft to pick me up, to be more safe. you fcking kidding me?” He immediately turned his head to look me in the eyes, laughed at me, & kept walking out the door. So used to treating women that like that my reaction didn’t phase him for one second. Not safe from toxic male bullshit anywhere.

And of course, that’s not nearly my worst interaction... just a more recent one. Never met a woman who doesn’t have several stories like this, have rarely met men who aren’t surprised to hear that.
