One thing I despise about modern society is:
Modern men.
Do you know what is worse than modern man?
The modern religions he adheres to.
As a devout and Biblical Christian, my desire is to see men become like David
But modernity forbids it.

And that alone goes against our masculine instinct!

God made man to be a protector, provider, and a fixer.
Those very rules do not serve the self!
Those pillars of our masculine design goes against what modern religion, especially "Neo-Christianity," preaches.
It's all about focusing on your own walk with God
That's good but

God has told us since the beginning,
"It is not good for man to be alone!"
This means we are better off with fellowship, enacting our roles as the protector, provider, and fixer/supplier
Does that mean we shouldn't work on our walks with God alone?
Well...

Jesus Christ Himself, the literal incarnate of God the Father, spent 40 days and 40 nights
In the desert
Alone
Pursuing the will of the Father.
We all have to do things alone
But again...

Modern religions wouldn't tell you to go out into the desert to improve your life
They'd tell you, "Stay home, join us online"
Men don't even have to wear pants to church anymore
No wonder they aren't wearing the pants in their families.
So, here I am, a man of faith...

You need to pursue what makes you BETTER at fulfilling your intrinsic masculine callings.

EASY! Just kidding, this isn't modernity, after all

- Build up your body for strength and endurance (protection)
- Increase your testosterone for more confidence and good aggression (protection)
- Back your words by actions (protection)
- Put the work in every day (provider)
- Don't stop when it gets hard (provider)

- Promise yourself you won't come back empty handed to loved ones (provider)
- Work on yourself so you don't project wounds onto who you want to help (fixer)
- Be emotionally and mentally strong (fixer)
- Do things out of love and put others above yourself (fixer)

Wrapping up:
Men are barely men anymore and I blame the lack of masculine influence in modern churches
But I'm here to change that.
