Because I don& #39;t want to focus on science, I will start a thread of Latinx food places I& #39;ve tried since I& #39;ve been here in Portland (well mainly Beaverton, Tigard) cause I mean, thats where all the good Hispanic food is.
This is obviously with the help of @yessicasantana_ that has found most of them and let me tag along. I will put them as I try to remember where I& #39;ve gone/ remembered to star on maps. COVID obviously made it more difficult to explore but go support and get some food for takeout.
1. The Tamale House. Tigard. 8/10 I had a pork and chicken tamales. Good size tamales, great price, nice and moist masa, lots of filling, rich flavor in the salsa. Probably the closest to what I& #39;m used to back home
2. Frutas Y Antojitos Diana& #39;s. Tigard. This is where you go to for snacking food/ Mexican street food. Honestly any place like this is a 10/10 for me. Elote en vaso (corn in a cup) 10/10. Aqua de Sandia (watermelon juice? drink?) 10/10. A little pricey but soo much food.
4. IceQueen. SE Portland. 10/10 @IceQueenpdx on twitter and instagram. Popsicle shop 100% plant based. Tried the Oatchata popsicle (of course). Creamy, flavorful, cinammony, perfect
