But paradoxically it is responsible for very aggressive behaviour by mothers. Try to go near a bear cub and you will be shredded by momma. That's oxytocin overdrive. So Oxytocin is both a 'hug hormone' and a 'momma bear hormone'..

So gradually, Testosterone levels reduced & serotonin levels increased which enhanced the effect of social binding hormone, oxytocin. This lead to cognitive changes related to cooperative communication and social tolerance. SD is the key to our ascent to the top.

So in 300000 years of our existence, H. Sapiens have shared earth with 4 other human species which got extinct.
In process of evolution we are more friendly, cooperative and working towards a shared goal to achieve even if we are with total strangers..
