It is easy to overlook the down-ballot TX House Races. In 2020 though these races are incredibly important! They can impact control of US House for a decade or more!

It is easy to overlook the down-ballot TX House Races. In 2020 though these races are incredibly important! They can impact control of US House for a decade or more!
TX is very gerrymandered. Fair districting would give Dems 4 more seats in US House based on 2010 census. 2020 is a census year, where TX is likely to get 2-3 new US House seats.
Dem control of TX House can ensure fair redistricting = possible 6-7 new Dem US House seats!

2018 Beto effect and blue wave, TX Dems flipped 12 HDs.
We just need to flip 9 more HDs to flip control of TX House!
But 2020 GOP are also more focused on protecting their control of TX House, with tons of outside money pouring in.
