not to sound like an ex-musical stan but there's a specific set of lyrics in dear evan hansen's "for forever" that remind me of kageyama and hinata... "and there he goes racing towards the tallest tree / from far across a yellow field i hear him calling 'follow me' (+)

going to nationals and all these other triumphs and losses. and then, the climax, "til the entire sun shines on my face" is like him finally reaching the national team. he's seen beyond the tall, tall wall and now he stands next to it on a world stage. (+)

finally, the sun shines on his face. but on the other hand, the rest of the song could work too, except make some changes. the climbing part is him working to get better at volleyball, coming to karasuno and defeating everyone in nationals until kamomedai (+)
