I feel like I’m at a breaking point with all this. Portland has been basically rioting for over a month while the media still glowingly cheers on their “protest” and is now focused on the federal response to stop it since the city won’t.

There is no way to compete with the power the media has and they know it. They repeat the narrative they want to push and have proven they will not be moved off that line. No matter how many times they step on rakes or get caught lying, the narrative doesn’t change.

Only a few people are brave enough to wade into the chaos of anarchy in Portland/Seattle, and clowns like Stelter tell us there’s nothing to see here, move along. The big companies are now cowed into proving how committed they are to advancing the BLM agenda, Marxism aside.

They own Big Entertainment, Big Media, education, pop culture, and they’ve basically outnumbered the opposition at this point. They’ve convinced kids to turn on parents and siblings because muh fascism.

As with everything, it’s a slippery slope. They play the long game, gaslighting you all the way to the edge of the cliff. Remember the “no boddy wants to take yer gunz, hillbilly!” is now “hell yes we’re coming for your guns!”

The thinkoieces we mocked every year when they told us to argue with family members at holidays over their politics. Obama said, “Get in their faces.” Look at us now. I have seen it within my own family and with my kids and their friends.

On FB this weekend, a family member said they were getting off social media. I found out it was after watching a woke grandchild spouting ACAB bullshit and then telling grandma “no one asked for your opinion, STFU or I’ll unfriend you” when she questioned her.

Things have surely been worse in this country, but it just feels hopeless to me. Politics will never recover. There will be no pretending to care about the other sides POV, no reaching across the aisle. You’re either a commie or a fascist, no in between apparently.
