I don’t think shyness is a cute, normal quirk. Unless one is a child, (though not even then).
I don’t believe shyness is functional. I believe most shyness to be a symptom of extreme suppression of the self/will/sacral chakra in childhood.
Humans are social creatures. It’s important not to allow social anxieties or extreme introversion to become normalised in our culture. A lot of mental disorders are becoming a fixture of identity within culture, especially post millennials.
Social anxiety absolutely cripples people, along with shyness. It steals their voices. It robs them of their ambitions. It takes away their authenticity & it traps them in a box & gives others the key. It’s so important to call this out, to exorcise this from a person.
Some people are shy & it was never apart of their destiny to be or become shy. Sometimes I meet people & I read their energy trapped inside of them & it doesn’t reflect the energy that they exhibit & I know somebody has binded them through jealousy. It’s mostly an auntie or
somebody in the family who saw their destiny & knew from childhood that this person was going to be special. Shyness removes ones true agency & deters from their destiny.

Sometimes your shyness is NOT of you. And you will feel it.
