The media are getting off on finding these stories. The search for these outliers to scare people. Yes, COVID *can* be really dangerous for folks in 30s &40s. This is not the norm experience. Several weeks ago I saw a news story similar to this. About a man who was in the ICU. The anchor said “it takes a team of nurses to get him into radiology. In the background you could catch a glimpse of why: he was morbidly obese. No mention of it. But like, maybe a factor.....

It’s intentionally manipulative and panic porn. And it has opposite of the intended effect. I don’t trust them on any of this stuff now.
