My mother was admitted at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh as a covid patient on 20/6/2020.
On the same day, govt released a circular capping the amount that private hospitals in Delhi can charge to covid patients.
However, the charges that were levied upon us have not been done so taking these orders into consideration.
She was relieved on 23/6/2020 & the bill charged was of Rs. 1,08,215 by the hospital. She was neither on ventilator nor on oxygen support. Just medication.
Circular by Government released on 20.6.2020 capping the amount hospitals could charge
The bill that was given to us by the hospital.
Notice the patient admit date and charges.
Circular by Max Hospital @MaxHealthcare
at which we were charged.
Requesting answers from @MaxHealthcare @abhay_soi for why were we charged at 25k per day when clearly according to new regulations the amount should have been 8-10k.
