I’ll always advocate for leaving Nigeria. Could be temporary or permanent but just leave and live in some other place for a bit. Would put a lot of things in broader perspective. Life is too full, too rich, too varied to be solely & entirely seen through the lens of our country.
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter where you go, you most likely will never find any place like home. But at least you’d have personally juxtaposed and had the benefit of comparative experiences. There’s no amount of books, movies or stories out there that can replace this.
This thread has very little to do with money or success. In fact, if you’re educated and hardworking, chances are you may be better off in Nigeria in the long term. Besides, our country needs the best of its brains to turn her luck around, but that comparative experience is key.
