I still haven't ventured out to see any friends yet so these are some of the podcasts that have been keeping me company over the last couple weeks [A Thread]
I'm obsessed with This Is Not A Drake Podcast by @cbcpodcasts hosted by @TyHarper. I love the way this show discusses so many major themes like anti-blackness in the Toronto Radio Scene, Hip Hop Feminism whilst looking through the lens of Drake's career https://open.spotify.com/show/7FLtSNA99fqD8T55FTqO5D?si=xSNK6xGgQw23ir9AHo0mLA
I love The Vent Docs series by Vice. The latest series on love is so simple, mostly monologue but the sound design turns this into the most interesting documentary. Love hearing from young talent! Produced by the amazing @LawsonJessie and @ArlieAdlington https://open.spotify.com/show/7FpQDTtYnVsCvztk3wmflP?si=huQ1gIpURWSth2Be-iF5AA
Started listening to What Is This Behaviour hosted by @AlmassBadat @AaronChristian_ @reubenchristian love how fluid and real the conversation is. I'm excited to see how this show develops (the audio imaging bangs) https://open.spotify.com/show/11osPT84qJSLKjsE0dkLKJ?si=hmIPZ1DBQcuOoZbMh6_SQg
I relate so much to @TalkToMamiPapi podcast on a personal level. Hearing personal experiences then weighed in by a professional to talk to your parents about issues you have a different view on due to cultural differences is great. https://open.spotify.com/show/224341fZMjGIsSfhDQSWyu?si=mFlwQmthR4CMQqapMjLSQg
For the 13 year old in me that wanted to be a fashion designer What Were You Thinking hosted by @henryholland and produced by the fabulous @_agirlcalledraj is so fabulous and fun, the interview with Eve (a whole Eve!) was my fave. Happy listening! https://open.spotify.com/show/1WygvAY6sqpNNGES9y0dgX?si=0MzI9ESZQAWGAXBHiyG5Hw
