As insane as I think the public paying for stadiums is, I still think this plan would work for the Royals and/or Chiefs:

You want your dome to host Super Bowls and Final Fours? Draw money from both counties and give them equal benefits. I firmly believe JoCo would be all over that.
Regardless, I think by about 2030 +/- a couple years, the Chiefs are indoors and the Royals are downtown.
Only question is are the Chiefs on the same plot of land or do they flex their leverage and move to The Legends in WyCo?
