Jane Newman - Major contributor to the planning discipline in the US at Chiat/Day. Persuaded Apple to 1984. Proved that creativity grounded in human truths creates relevance and far greater impact that leads to effectiveness. It was no longer a choice between one or the other.
Mary Wells Lawrence - Similar to David Ogilvy where she started as a copywriter and then ran her own shop - where she was the first female CEO listed on the NYSE.

Barbara Proctor - The first Black woman to own and operate an advertising agency in 1976.
