In 2012 we built a studio on the top of a disused tower block to house BBC News for the duration of the Olympics.
Technically it was bonkers.
No Autocue on site - all in HD (BBC News was not HD in 2012)and using three galleries...

Here were the Jago designs for the roof...

Here were the poor producer guidelines...

The most complicated switching procedure before each programme...

And the most complicated hour by hour schedule ever ...

But it resulted in the BEST time at work EVER....
