why commander fox deserved better; a thread

firstly, because he didn’t have a jedi commander and was stationed guarding senators, there was tension between him and other clones, while he was spending time with senators and the chancellor, his clone brothers were out dying on far away planets

this brings up a point that i think is important, commander fox didn’t know fives like rex or anakin did, commander fox didn’t really HAVE any clone friends because while his squad worked under him and other squads worked under jedi, fox worked under tarkin and palpatine, meaning

fox probably felt really alone most of the time. then, when he got the mission to hunt fives down, from fox’s pov, fives was insane; a traitor who had just tried to murder the supreme chancellor (the most important politcal figure in the republic) who was pointing a gun at him

of course fox felt bad about actually killing fives, but it was intentional that we never saw fox cry or even his face, this was probably to show that fox was just another helmet, more like a cold stormtrooper then the clones we know, fox was just another cog in palpatine’s plan

post order 66, vader killed fox for not warning his troops to not shoot at vader while hunting another jedi, this seems really brutal, but when you look at it from vader’s pov, he still sees fox as fives’ murderer; just like how we only see fox as the evil faceless clone who

killed fives.

in conclusion fox deserves so so so much better and i will keep pushing this agenda
