Calling @UACES members & friends – This is an URGENT CALL for support from me and our patrons @BrigidLaffan and @AdamsonPaul. Please read this thread! 1/10

Some of you have kindly been in touch expressing concern about how @UACES is coping financially with the current situation due to the pandemic and if we need support – the short answer is yes we do! 2/10

Sadly, we had to cancel the 2020 @UACES conference in Belfast and our @UACESgf Graduate Research Conference in Berlin meaning #ECRs in particular have missed out on crucial chances to present their work & network at an important time in their careers. 3/10

UACES staff have been very busy working for our members during lockdown. Our 1st Virtual Conference takes place in September & it's free for members to ensure accessibility at a time of financial hardship for #ECRs in particular: https://www.conftool.org/uaces2020/sessions.php 4/10

But we need your help. While having no 2020 conference revenue, our outgoings on things like office rent etc. remain the same. 5/10

So to our mid-career and senior scholar members, we would be really grateful, if you have the means, if you would consider supporting @UACES through the difficult next few months. There are 3 ways you can help: 6/10
