My thread on #FPL skills vs luck.

One thing that is underestimated in #FPL is the discipline you need to have. Taking hits are the biggest rank killers and alot of us, including me in the past are taking over by the desire to bring a player in without balancing the risk.

It takes skill to discipline yourself to look at the strengths of your team before being influenced by other teams on Twitter which can lead you to making mistakes and taking costly hits. Hits have to be long term strategic moves or they are pointless.

Luck will only get you so far but it is the strategic planning in building team value and planning your GWs that will make you succeed.

Biggest lesson, look at your strengths and dont worry about how other teams look. Discipline yourself to take minimal hits and go with your gut
