Something I learned young and it stuck with me–

If you ever see a stuffed tiger or a photo of one "roaring" that is not aggression. Tigers are stealth hunters. They don't warn their prey. If you see them it's right before they're eating you. >>

That "roar" is fear; it's a warning.

Frightened predators are more dangerous than ones that are calmly hunting. They are more vicious, less predictable because all they want is to escape whatever's scaring them and they only have two tools at their disposal:>>

run or attack.

So, what happens when the predator feels backed into a corner? Yep. A death struggle based on terror.

Everything you're seeing from the Trump people and their white supremacist supporters is a fear response. This isn't meant to put you at ease. >>

You need to understand who you're dealing with. This is Eric David Harris and Dylan Bennet Klebold writ large. It's people drowning in paranoia fantasies, seeing their world coming down fast around them.

Never mind it's a fantasy world; they believe in it.>>

Their belief and paranoia have been weaponized– "softly" by the traditional GOP (our current allies against the beast)– and aggressively by the sociopath in chief and his craven followers. But it is just as real as that cornered tiger for all that it's based on fantasy.>>

You need to stop trying to reach them. You need to stop expecting them to come back from the abyss. They have been eaten by their paranoia and there is no lifeline that will reach them.

The core of their fantasy is anchored this one truth: they *are* actually outnumbered. >>

The VAST majority of human beings are fine with Live and Let Live. MOST of us are fine in our own lanes as long as no one is kicking us from another one.

We may not be UNUM yet, but our PLURIBUS is nowhere near as fractured as these people need it to be.>>

Most off us just aren't that fearful of each other.

We *are* that lazy. We *are* that arrogant. We *are* that stupid that we think "things eventually work themselves out for the best."

Those are also fantasies.

"Things" don't work out. We work them.>>

"The best" is never, ever, not one time ever the result of luck or divine intervention. It's the result of us, working. And it doesn't end there. We have to keep working it.

The USA is hanging on by its fingernails over a the drooling maw of a monster made of their fear.>>

They are irrational. They are suicidal. They can't be saved. They can only be mitigated; they can only be endured and survived.

They *can* be beaten, paranoia and all, if we just all remember what they already know.

We are the MANY. >>

We represent civilization.

We are the opposite of their fear and their chaos.

They are consuming themselves in front of our eyes. They can only eat us too if we let them.

Stand up. You are absolutely not alone.
