Thinking about Uraraka sunken into the common room sofa on a secondhand switch. She shrieks and when Tsuyu asks what's going on, she says that turnips are 632 bells and she's crying because she can finally pay off debt. Tsuyu and Mina pat her head, because
they know things are rough monetarily...which is why they gifted her the console.

But they're not the only ones to hear.

Bakugou is patiently waiting for all the other losers to leave Uraraka alone on the sofa, but he's antsy. There's only so much time left before the shop
closes and it's Saturday night.

He sighs heavily when they get bored and let her tap away by herself. In the coolest voice he can muster, Bakugou sits down and asks for a Dodo-code.

"A what?"

There isn't much time left so he hands her his switch decked with All Might vinyls
and joy con covers. She holds it and watches wide eyed as he runs her avatar to the airport and talks to one of the blue birds. He flips through prompts and hisses when he realizes she's in airplane mode. A few screens later and he's handing it back to her and taking his switch.
The screen gets dark and a dinging sound rings from the console. "King Xplode: villain killer" arriving from "DIE Island."

It takes everything in her not to burst into laughter. "Y-you play?"

Suddenly he's leaving her island and before she can say anything, he's headed back.
"Say anything to those extras and die," he mumbles. Bakugou leaves her island once more and when he's done selling he finds her avatar and drops an absurd amount of money bags.

"Wait, what's this?"

He saves his game and stands up. "Hush money." Taking her switch one last time,
Bakugou does something that she can't see. "Tell anyone and die. I mean it."

The next day her inbox is glowing and there's a letter from 'King Xplode.'

"Plant these."

She plants the fruit and each day there's a new piece of mail from him. After a few days, Bakugou sends her
a text.

Bakugou: Tell those dumbass birds you wanna come see me. My island is open.

Uraraka stumbles around the game and gets turned around.

Bakugou: HURRY!
It makes her even more nervous and she finds him under her friends. Actually, he's her only friend...and he's listed as a "Best Friend."

She makes it to his island and sees his avatar waiting for her. He spins in a circle and a bubble "follow me" pops up.
Uraraka follows him through the town, down a brick road and then up a hill side. They're at the edge of the cliff and a twinkling sound plays from her speaker.

Bakugou: Put your net up and tilt your right con up.
She does and watches shooting stars in the sky. His avatar holds his hands together and one of the stars shines brighter.

Bakugou: Press A

Uraraka does and nothing happens.

Bakugou: When you see a shooting star, dummy.
They stay on his island for thirty minutes wishing on stars before he texts her that he needs to go to sleep. It's when she gets back to her own island that he texts her "goodnight" and a warm, fuzzy feeling takes over.

Was that just a date?!

Surely not. But as the days
continue, Bakugou texts her more frequently, asking about turnips and sending her cute shit that he says his villagers have given him. Uraraka is positive he is buying some of them and he even wraps them in pink wrapping paper before mailing...something she had to google.
Uraraka: Can we...idk, play together?

Bakugou: We already do.

Uraraka: I mean like..in the same room?
Uraraka's heart is pounding. It may be the single most embarrassing thing she's ever sent in her entire life. She holds her breath and waits.

Bakugou: Your room or mine?

The sigh that escapes her is so loud she's sure she would have been mistaken for a deflated balloon.
She was curious though.

Uraraka: Your room?

Her ears flood with the sound of her pulse as seconds tick by. She waits for him, breath caught in her chest while a new bubble pops up.

Bakugou: Sure.
Uraraka quietly tip toes down the hall, careful not to alert Mina. The ride up the boy's elevator has her sweating bullets. It stops on the second floor and Todoroki steps on, eyeing the switch clutched in her hands.

"Mar¡o Party?"
She twists her face. It's a well enough known game that she's able to carry the conversation a bit.

"You like it?"

He sighes and shrugs. "I wish Midoriya wasn't such a sore loser."
Uraraka laughs awkwardly and excuses herself onto the fourth floor. Bakugou's on the fourth floor..right?!

The elevator doors shut behind her and she jumps. Hand searchs her pocket for her phone but it isn't there. A hot sensation takes over her body as she realizes her mistake.
In her haste to make sure she was quiet, she left her phone.

She swallows hard and crosses her fingers. She could make some kind of excuse. Something to get away with why she was looking for Bakugou while carrying her switch...right?
Lips tight between her teeth, she knocks on the second door.

"Oh, Uraraka!"

Kirishima stands in the doorway and she curses her luck. Of COURSE the first door she picks is not Bakugou's. That would have only been too easy.

"Sorry!" she chirps. "I'm looking for Bakugou."
Kirishima furrows his brows. "With your switch?"

Uraraka remembers what he said. "I-uh...he's going to fix something for me. It's secondhand so there's an issue with one of my buttons."
"Ah! I had the same thing happen with mine, but I sent it back to the manufacture. I guess you can't do that."

She shakes her head. "So, which room is Bakugou's?"
Kirishima points to the next door down and she thanks him. Before she can knock, the door swings open.

"You take as long around the dorms as you do to type out a thought bubble..."
