If anyone wants a #reynosowatch rundown... the transfer is messy and being held up significantly because of 2 of Bebelo’s former teams. His training club CIBI claims to have not been paid its 20% in 2018 when Talleres sold him to Boca. Talleres said they paid them.

CIBI filled an appeal recently with TAS. TAS is the Court of Arbitration for Sport. They have not reviewed the case and sounds like they don’t want to... so its in a black hole on someone’s desk I guess. I believe MNUFC upped its offer so that Boca could purchase the remaining

10% that Talleres held. (Bringing Boca’s percentage to 80% which is what has been agreed upon between Boca and MNUFC). But it is still messy... Boca originally purchased 60% of Reynoso. It was a multi-player and cash swap.

Those players involved... we’re talking percentages again... went to Talleres. Then like a year or so later, Boca got 10% more of Bebelo in exchange for an increase in percentages of some of those other players involved.

Talleres may have sold one or two of those players (bringing another exchange into the mix) but I haven’t been able sort that part of it out. Anyway, so like a week or so ago it seemed like this was close to being done. Boca had agreed with Talleres for that last 10%

paving the way for the transfer to MNUFC. But back to CIBI, Reynoso’s training club... they filed the appeal with TAS about a week ago from what I have pieced together. They are trying to get back pay, plus possible payments from both exchanges involving an additional 10% of

Bebelo, plus the usual training club fee. Talleres President said over the weekend that they are done talking about Bebelo and are no longer involved. So, TAS seems to not want to review the appeal and Talleres has said they don’t want to negotiate

about Bebelo anymore. TNT Sports in Argentina reported today that this is a significant block in the transfer and that what once seemed imminent is now not so certain.
