At around 12:30 a.m. officers deployed tear gas and less-lethal munitions and began dispersing the crowd.
Some federal officers pressed north on 3rd Ave beyond the courthouse and past Salmon. Others advanced west on Main St. Agents continued to intermittently set off devices that emitted gas, sound and smoke to keep clearing people out. (photo, at the former Elk, by @bethnakamura)
