Good morning to all my fellow Nationalists.
I try as much as possible to not make this FF post a political post, but today's post is a bit political.
Today it's our turn to know the designer of Indian National Flag - Pingali Venkayya.

Venkaya designed one version of flag for Indian National Congress  which later became Indian flag after minor alterations post Independence.
Pingali Venkayya was an authority in geology, agriculture and also an educationist who set up an educational institution in Machilipatnam.

He, however, died in poverty in 1963 and was largely forgotten by the society and by his own party, the Congress, apart from releasing a postal Stamp.
