Refuting misinterpretation

This thread is inspired by misinterpreted shlokas of Ancient Sanatan scriptures

We encounter mørons who are restlessly spreading deformed translations

My request to all is that we should start reading our own scriptures to counter

Atharva Veda 6.77.1 (pic )

Claimed: Earth is immovable & quoted some verses from Vedas which according to them says Earth is fixed

Reality: This verse says Earth is stable (अस्थाद् is Sanskrit word for stable)

They need to learn difference between stable and immovable

the verse again says that Earth is constant/stable

Rig Veda 10.149.1
“The sun has tied Earth and other planets through attraction and moves them around itself as if a trainer moves newly trained horses around itself holding their reins.”

used the Hindi term ‘दृड’ which means ‘stable’

Misinterpreted Hindi word ‘स्तंभित’ as ‘stop’

The Sanskrit term used there is ‘दाधर्थ’ which means ‘To hold’

Refer to Rigveda 7.99.2 where similar word is used & there too it means ‘To hold’

They don't understand the complexity of Sanskrit and make their own meanings.
