Serious question: Is hiring a domestic worker to clean your house semi-regularly inherently classist and exploitative?

More so than hiring a babysitter to watch your kids?

I’ve heard a lot of leftist discourse saying it is.
I perceive that the difference between having a regular housecleaner and a servant is the same between having a regular babysitter and a nanny. But I might be wrong!
I ask because if I ever have enough disposable income for it, I would LOVE to hire someone to clean my flat every fortnight.

I wasn’t taught most domestic tasks like cleaning. They were reserved for punishment. So now it’s something I’m very bad at and actively resent.
But a messy place is HELL on my mental health, so I clean regularly. And I end up bitter and angry as exhausted that I’m so bad at it.

I’d love to nip that in the bud and break the wheel at its source IF I’m not inherently disenfranchising someone.
