Changes to jobseeker payment at end of Sept:

- Coronavirus supplement falls from $550pf to $250 (jobseeker falls to $815.70pf in total) and will expire at end of 2020

- income threshold up to $300pf before payments reduce

- assets test and assets waiting period reintroduced

Mutual obligations changes:

- Must connect with employment services from 4 August, must under four job searches a month, penalties resume for refusing a job.

- From end of September, "higher rate" of job search

Morrison suggests he is open to the idea the coronavirus supplement will need continue into next year. He flags further decisions about jobseeker will be made closer to the end of the year
