It’s been a few days since I ate these beautiful lobster mushrooms and I haven’t died! The first wild local mushrooms I’ve eaten aside from wood ears. There’s a nice patch of these boletes in a nearby trail. Definitely edible, but I’m going to do a spore print tonight just for fun. I think it’s Hemileccinum subglabripes.
