basically my entire school life so far has just been me diving deeper & deeper into sciences every year thinking id finally escape the living hell that is literature/Philosophy!! to no avail bc it seems theyre simply always lurking around the corner waiting to Ruin my day anyway
philosophy is like a child clinging to my leg and refusing to let got. a Very heavy kid that hinders me considerably and is an absolute pain in the ass. or perhaps more of a little dog constantly humping my leg reminding me of why i hate Existing
this literally feels like a Trap i went into my senior year relieved i wouldnt be studying literature anymore &then bam! philosophy courses instead. then i decide to get higher education & get into a math/phys/cs program and Surprise! theres literature AND philosophy too
can u imagine the sense of betrayal i felt when after applying to a math/cs/physics degree knowing id have no history courses to take at the very least i was informed that philosophy+literature classes were in fact mandatory
and that i had not one not two but Three books to read before august 31st. one 600 page poetry book. one 500 page philosophy book written by nietzsche. plus another book thats uh pretty decent. this is so fucked up
me: this year im taking even more science related classes!

philosophy: heyyyyyy 😀
a set up a literal set up
i love how i accidentally made this thread completely unintelligible in an attempt to make it accessible to everyone! have fun trying to understand what i am saying any knowledge of the french education system will probably not help
